Joined Noor Takaful in February 2018 as General Manager – Finance & Marketing. He was appointed Acting MD in April 2019. He holds a Masters of Business Administration from Nottingham University Business School (UK) as well as BSc Accounting from University of Abuja, Nigeria. He has extensive experience in investments having worked with ARM, Efectivo Capital as well as Adamawa Investment & Property Development Company. He has over 17 years working experience having held various senior positions with reputable organizations in Nigeria.

Rilwan Sunmonu
Managing Director
A Chartered Insurer with over 20 Years’ experience in the Nigerian Insurance market. He is a graduate of Insurance and qualified as Chartered Insurance practitioner in 2008. He holds a Masters degree in Managerial Psychology from University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Oyo State. He started his Insurance career as an Operations Officer at Allison Insurance Brokers in January, 1999. He was a Marketing Executive with Hallmark Assurance Plc (Now Consolidated Hallmark) in the year 2003 before joining Royal Exchange Plc in the same year. He spent over fourteen (14) years in Royal Exchange working in various units and departments. He was Manager, Yaba Branch between 2011 and 2017 before he became Head, Manufacturing and Conglomerate. He joined Noor Takaful Insurance Limited in March 2019.

General Manager (IT Digital Operations)
Taofik, a Certified IT Specialist with 20+ years' experience in the Nigerian ICT industry and insurance market, currently serves as Chief Technology Officer at Noor Takaful Insurance Limited. Previously, he was Deputy Head, ICT at Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc. Taofik holds a master's degree in information technology, and he is an Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).

Akeem Odeduntan
Head, Internal Audit & Control
Akeem Odeduntan has extensive experience in Islamic banking and finance, holding an M.Sc. in Islamic Banking and Finance from IIUM Malaysia. He is a member of several professional bodies, including the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Fellowship of Certified Islamic Professional Accountant. Akeen started his career in education before working at Ahmed Zakari and Co. He joined Noor Takaful Insurance Limited in 2020, where he heads the Internal Audit and Control department. Akeen has authored several publications on Islamic finance and regularly facilitates training sessions on Islamic banking standards.

Gazali Mukhtar

Gazali Mukhtar is a seasoned finance expert and a current CFO with over 25 years of experience across telecommunications, power distribution, manufacturing, agribusiness, audit, and revenue assurance. He is an expert in financial management, strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, risk management, corporate governance, compliance, revenue optimisation, and internal controls.
As a former CFO of a major electricity distribution company and Head of Finance & Accounts at a leading rice milling company (2018–2025), he drove financial performance, operational efficiency, working capital optimisation, and sustainable business growth.
Recognised for strong leadership, stakeholder management, audit oversight, and aligning financial strategy with organisational objectives. Gazali is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and an Economics graduate of Ahmadu Bello University.

Ismaeel Ayanlere
Chief Business Development Officer
Ismaeel joined Noor Takaful Insurance Limited in October 2021 as Head of Retail Business. He holds a university degree with second class upper in Agriculture from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Kaduna State. He is an associate member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN), a fellow of the Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals of Nigeria (IIFP) and also a fellow of the Islamic Institute of Accounting and Finance of Nigeria. He started his insurance career as a marketer with Linkage Assurance Plc. in the year 2004 before joining African Alliance Takaful (Window) in the year 2005. He has acquired extensive experience in Takaful having worked for over 15 years with African Alliance Takaful where he rose to the position of Head of Takaful in 2014 a position he held for seven (7) years before joining Noor Takaful Insurance Limited. Ismaeel had participated in a number of trainings related to the development of the Takaful sector amongst which are a workshop on facilitating the implementation of the IFSB standards which includes guiding principles on governance for Takaful undertakings (IFSB-8), standards on solvency requirements for Takaful undertakings (IFSB-11) and standard on risk management for Takaful undertakings (IFSB-14) facilitated by Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB) and hosted by the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) in 2016 and facilitating the implementation of the IFSB standards, a workshop on Islamic Banking, Takaful and Islamic Capital Market also facilitated by IFSB and hosted by NAICOM in 2018. As part of developing his managerial capability and continuous contribution to the insurance industry, he participated in the Whole Manager Programme a training facilitated by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) Limited Business School in 2019 and also engaged in a programme on Innovative Strategies and Sustainable Business Models for the Insurance Industry in an Evolving Economy facilitated by the Lagos Business School in 2021.

Abiola Thompson leads the Corporate Services Group at Noor. She holds a BSc in Physics and Solar Energy from Bowen University. Since joining Noor in 2019, she has excelled in HR, administration, and customer care. She is a certified member of CIIN and CIPM, demonstrating her professional excellence. Adeoye Solesi is a seasoned underwriter with over 10 years of cognate experience as an insurance expert in the Nigerian Insurance industry. Adeoye worked in various capacities and units within the Technical Department of Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc before joining NOOR Takaful Insurance Limited as Head, Technical, General Takaful in 2020. Adeoye has extensive experience in Underwriting, Claims and Reinsurance and has garnered expertise across various units such as the Marine, General accident and Engineering leveraging on innovative risk management solutions. Adeoye earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Lagos, and a Master’s degree in Risk Management from the same university. Adeoye has a post graduate Diploma in Islamic Banking, Finance and Insurance form Nungu Business school. He is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Insurance Nigeria. He has worked as the Head, Shariah Audit, Noor Takaful; Regional Shariah Auditor, Lagos, Southwest & South, Jaiz Bank PLC; Head, Shariah Audit, SunTrust bank and Currently Group Head, Shariah, Noor Group. She has over a decade of experience in the Nigerian insurance market, beginning her career at Mutual Benefit Life Assurance. Since joining Noor Takaful in 2018, she has held various positions, including Head of Family Takaful Department. She has extensive experience in life underwriting and has undergone professional training in life insurance.

Kanyinsola Oluwasola-Oseni
Head, Brands, Marketing and Communication
Kanyinsola holds a BSc in International Law and Diplomacy from Babcock University and an MSc in Media and Communications from Pan-Atlantic University. She also earned a Diploma in Marketing Communications from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), UK, and is an alumna of Lagos Business School’s Senior Management Program.
She began her career in 2012, and overtime started managing multiple accounts across West Africa.
In May 2025, Kanyinsola joined Noor Takaful Insurance Limited as Head of Brands, Marketing and Communication, where she leads brand strategy, marketing execution, and corporate communications.

Oluwafemi has the ability to design and implement governance frameworks; including ERM policies, compliance registers, fraud risk assessments, and business continuity plans that deliver measurable risk reduction.
He has a deep knowledge of Nigerian and international regulatory standards (CAMA 2020, NIIRA 2025, NAICOMguidelines, ISO 31000:2018, AML/CFT, NDPR, Pension Reform Act 2014, ISQM).
